Signing naturally: AUSLAN units 16 and 17 (silent)

The Signing Naturally Student video DVD text Level 2 was adapted from the American Sign Language (ASL) and culture into Australian Sign Language (AUSLAN) and culture. The video DVD text is designed to provide users with an opportunity to review and practice what is learned in the classroom as well as to increase comprehension of signed narratives. this DVD resolves around a major language function: nationalisation and family histories; communicative approach is the language used in everyday conversation. Office of DPP Open Day - From Crime to Court

On February 10th 2006 the first South Australian Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Open Day was held in the main auditorium of the University of South Australia. This two DVD package covers the crime scenario and each specialist speaker. It is suggested that you view the crime scenario first followed by each speaker in sequential order. The following Speakers appear on the DVD: The Crime, First Attending Police, Forensic Science, Investigation Officer, Committal Solicitor, Witness Assistance, General Solicitor, The Trial Process and Sentencing. This DVD package also contains a CD with printable files as PDFs. These files include a glossary of legal terminology and a sheet of frequently asked questions. The package would be of interest to students undertaking legal studies or anyone who was interested in finding out how the Office of the South Australian Director of Public Prosecutions operates.
