Manage Volunteers - Volunteer Management

This unit of competency focuses on the skills and knowledge required by workers – staff supervisors, coordinators, managers – to manage volunteers. The orientation of the learning resource is on foundations – building from the ground up, to ensure the success of the volunteer recruitment and retention program. As a first step, we will identify the organisation’s human resources and financial plan – and where (if…) volunteers are ‘located’ within that plan.
