Employment Services - Developing strategic partnerships (Cluster C)

This learner resource represents a cluster of four competencies: • Develop new networks • Work with other services • Manage a service delivery in a purchaser/provider relationship with government • Develop a tender submission.  A range of related issues and concepts are discussed in this resource, all of which orient towards effective work with other services – including  developing/extending networks, accessing appropriate points of referral or cultivating strategic partnerships with government. A cluster approach is used as a way of better organising our thinking (and by extension, the ‘internal architecture’ of this learning resource). Through clustering competencies, we are able to present information in a manner that avoids duplication and offers the opportunity for a more holistic assessment process.

Lead and Develop Others and Human Resources Management

These two competencies have been brought together in these materials becauseof their mutual compatibility in content, focus and intent. This also enables us to remove the overlap between the competencies, while providing an integrated approach to student learning.
