Description

Understanding First Aid is a resource pack for First Aid trainers and learners. The resources are designed to supplement existing resources particularly for learners who may have difficulty absorbing the information within the time frame of First Aid training. These resources are not intended to replace training notes used by First Aid training providers. The resources were originally designed to provide additional English language input and a basic understanding of how the body works to support First Aid training for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. However, they are of use for a range of learners including: • Secondary school students • Learners with literacy difficulties • Older learners • Learners with limited schooling.

The Classroom Kit includes 20 copies of the Student Book and the Teacher's Pack. The Teacher's Pack consists of a game, posters and a CDROM.
