APEC - Counselling through the Marketing Process
Marketing forms the cornerstone for the initiation, growth and subsequent profitability of a small business. Without marketing and a marketing strategy, a business cannot survive and prosper. Marketing involves identifying the consumer, the product, the methods of distribution, advertising and promotion programs, pricing strategy and locational analysis.The small business counsellor must have an understanding of marketing to enable them to work with and assist their clients in marketing related issues. This module will enhance the small business counsellor's skills with respect to assisting the client understand marketing and to develop a marketing strategy for their small business.
