How to read a Vernier Calliper

Repair by Plastic Filling

The vehicle repair industry now mainly uses plastic filler in place of solder loading because it is generally a more economic process. However it still requires skill and care to do a good job. This demonstration sets out to inform the learner how to prepare the job, prepare the two-part epoxy filler and how to mix it, how to apply it and how to finish it. The demonstration finishes with a small segment on the companion product, the two-part epoxy putty. This is much finer in texture than the filler and as a result has some extremely useful applications.

Swaging Machine - Workshop Machinery Operation & Safety

The Swaging Machine allows the making of rebated lines in a panel. It also allows you to make wire edge reinforced panels such as were popular in vehicles up to the 1930s or so.
