A range of related issues and concepts, all of which orient towards developing ourselves and others including workforce development are discussed in this module.

This learner resource represents a cluster of four competencies: • Develop new networks • Work with other services • Manage a service delivery in a purchaser/provider relationship with government • Develop a tender submission.  A range of related issues and concepts are discussed in this resource, all of which orient towards effective work with other services – including  developing/extending networks, accessing appropriate points of referral or cultivating strategic partnerships with government. A cluster approach is used as a way of better organising our thinking (and by extension, the ‘internal architecture’ of this learning resource). Through clustering competencies, we are able to present information in a manner that avoids duplication and offers the opportunity for a more holistic assessment process.

On completion of this unit students will be able to Develop and Maintain Support Mechanisms, Promote Community Leadership and Develop Leadership Skills.
