A Revision of Basic Arithmetic (Health HLT07)

This course has different expectations from the Certificate IV that you may have already completed, and many Enrolled Nurses may not yet have had an opportunity to either study or practice medication administration. To be proficient at medication administration, it is necessary to have a good understanding of basic arithmetic and the metric system. Arithmetic underpins the practice of medication administration. The purpose of this package is to enable Enrolled Nurses converting a Certificate IV or its equivalent to the Diploma of Nursing or students just beginning the nursing program to revise basic arithmetic skills to enable them to complete the nursing calculation component of the unit.
