Independent Writing

Independent Writing is part of the Introductory Certificate in Vocational Education. Writing is an exciting thing to do. It's a bit like driving a car: you to master the basic rules of handling the car and the rules of the road. Once you've done that you can only get better. You can go as fast or as slow as you like. You are in charge of your own learning. Just as in driving a car you can go anywhere you want - the sky's the limit! This module is divided into 9 topics. Topic 1 Develop Your Own Writing Goals is your starting point. When you have completed it you will be asked to choose two of the remaining eight topics to study in detail. If you are intending to enter a job which require office skills you should make your choice from Topics 3, 6, 7, 8 or 9. If you want general practice in writing you should make your choice from Topics 2, 3, 4, or 5.
