On completion of this unit students will be able to Operate within a Community Development Framework, Work with Individuals and Groups to achieve Community Development Outcomes, Address Individual Issues Arising when Working within a Community Development Framework and Work Effectively with Diversity in the Community.This unit of competency gives background and underpinning knowledge of community development as a concept and process. In addition, skills and a range of methods required for working within a community development framework are explored in both the study environment and a practical setting.
